CRYSTAL 101

Crystals are allies that support you on your journey as their fascinating properties make them powerful spiritual tools for us to play with, understand ourselves and realise our divinity. Crystals are alive in a similar way to how plants and trees are. Yes, you read that right! Each crystal has a unique consciousness that can interact with our human minds and energies.

Crystals have a unique blueprint that is governed by sacred geometry principles, and when they grow, they form structures that can hold high vibrations of energy. They are intimately connected to the essence of life as their structures allow them to store and flow life force energy. Essentially, crystals are sacred 3D objects that hold high-frequency energy. 

Each type of crystal has a unique lattice structure, meaning a different arrangement of how their atoms and molecules are positioned inside. This is what accounts for their differences in appearance and enables each crystal to hold a distinct and unique form of energy.

For example, Citrine helps wash away negative thoughts and amplifies your self-confidence, Labradorite draws on and magnifies your inner strength to help you navigate challenging situations and Moonstone elevates your high-vibrational, feminine energy and heightens your intuition.

THE POWER OF INTENTION

Crystals naturally work with your energy to support healing, growth, and your highest expression. They are also receptive to being programmed with intention. You can ask a crystal to assist you with a specific situation or to guide you through an aspect of your healing journey, and it will begin supporting you right away!

TUNING INTO CRYSTALS

To tune into a crystal, start by closing your eyes and taking a few slow breaths to clear out any lingering thoughts. Once your mind feels calm, hold the crystal close and look at it with gentle focus. Notice what comes through your clairsenses - your inner vision, inner hearing, inner feeling, and inner knowing.

For example, when I tuned into Labradorite and asked how it supports us, its dark colour sparked a vision in my third eye of a tunnel that symbolised difficult times. As I noticed the stone's iridescent blue shimmer, I saw that same blue light moving toward the tunnel, activating and expanding the qualities within a person that keep them resilient.

In that moment, I felt a strong emphasis around the phrase "inner strength." That was my clear sense that Labradorite draws out and amplifies your inner strength to help you navigate challenges.

When you tune into a crystal yourself, you will receive your own unique insights about how it wants to assist you. It is a beautiful and deeply intuitive exchange. If you are new to using your clairsenses in this way, the messages might first appear soft or subtle. Keep paying attention to what you feel, and with practice, your perception will become clearer and stronger over time.

Sometimes it can take a while to build the skill and confidence to interact with our crystals. It is important to remember that you do not need to consciously work with a crystal for it to support you. As soon as you have a crystal in your possession, it begins assisting you on your journey.

For example, my beautiful mother gifted me a gorgeous Fluorite for Christmas. At the time, I was moving through an emotionally turbulent period and was not in the headspace to interact with my crystal, so I simply placed it in my room and carried on with my life. About a week later, I felt more grounded in my emotions and had the bandwidth to bring a bit more spiritual practice back into my routine. I picked up my crystal and decided to tune into it.

As I connected with it, I began to see and feel that a lot of dark, dense energy had been absorbed by the stone. Like a loyal companion, the crystal had taken it upon itself to act like a sponge, soaking up the heavy emotions I had been processing so it could support me. I was truly moved and felt immensely touched and grateful :')
